uTorrent for Mac
uTorrent is one of the most popular software in Torrent circuit and thanks to its ease of use it is preferred over other peer to peer software.
uTorrent provides to you few settings, few but essential, necessary for proper configuration of bandwidth.
uTorrent for Mac hasn’t got a sleep timer and a few other small customization that do not affect the performance of the software. uTorrent (as all programs that use the torrent’s circuit) has a different management of files, explains in this article, and then do not go to re-explain.
The configuration of uTorrent is easily thanks to 2 / 3 main window, while others are reserved to the management of completed downloads and torrent files.
The window “Bandwidth” manages the bandwidth available to the user, so simply use of the software in the download, upload, and even in the ratio between download / upload.
With the window “BitTorrent” there is the possibility of limiting the number of connections that uTorrent does with the external, set the number of active transfers any one time, and active downloads at the same time.
And the last tab “Network” can be set manually (or automatically using random) the port that needs to use uTorrent for the transfer.
Into Obloo’s forum, linked here, there is the topic (in Italian) on thecorrect configuration of your uTorrent to make it as effective as possible.
uTorrent can be downloaded here by the official website.
